Electrolysis is the only form of permanent hair removal. It's safe and effective for all skin and hair types. A fine probe is inserted into each hair follicle. The base of the follicle is then treated with a bit of current, destroying it. Mild discomfort is normal and expected, but should not be unbearable. 
Overtime hairs will thin out and cease to grow at all. 
It is recommended to allow the hair to grow for about 2-4 days before your appointment. Shaving in between is fine.
